Feldmann Rieder Personal GmbH & Co. KG, FR Personal for short, was founded in Dusseldorf in 2001 by Gisela and Werner Faber as Faber & Faber Personaldienstleistungen OHG (general partnership). In 2014, with the entry of the partners Ella Feldmann and Andreas G. Rieder, the conversion to GmbH & Co. KG took place. Since summer 2017, the change of ownership has been completed.

The entrepreneurial couple has many years of experience in HR, controlling and finance. As a member of the management of a medium-sized analytics service provider, Andreas G. Rieder was responsible, among other things, for the strategic direction of the company as well as the management and development of its employees. During his time as Vice President Finance and IT, he moved internationally to DHL Global Management, based in Basel. One of his global activities was the promotion and further development of the Heads of Regions reporting to him.

Among other things, Ella Feldmann was responsible for the HR controlling of a Swiss insurance company and held a senior position for Personnel Administration and Finance & Controlling for a medium-sized Swiss software manufacturer.

Changing with the labour markets

The demographic change and a decreasing number of applicants within specific professions make it difficult in Germany not only to fill highly specialized positions, but increasingly also the vacancies in the middle and commercial segment. In many places, the job market has become a candidate market.

The changes also affected the company Faber & Faber, which until 2014 represented commercial positions in the greater Dusseldorf area.

 

Sharpening our competence profile

After the takeover by the entrepreneurial couple Andreas Rieder and Ella Feldmann, a step-by-step alignment followed, analogous to personal experience and skills. Since then, the mandates have increasingly moved in the area of executives, at the same time specializing in the sectors of logistics and industry as well as - across industries - the finance segment.

In logistics FR Personal now serves the sections of contract logistics, air and sea freight, HeavyLift and forwarding. In industry the focus is on plant construction, medical technology and the packaging industry. Within the Finance segment, we cover the entire range of specialist and management positions and mediate all positions from “Controlling” to “CFO”.
FR Personal takes on nationwide mandates. On customer request - and especially in the heavy lift sector - also global orders.

International presence

After setting up a representative office in the greater Basel area in 2019, we founded our French subsidiary in January 2021. You will now find us in the heart of Paris, not far from the Opera. Here we coordinate our international mandates and, among other things, offer German companies in France support in their search for qualified personnel through our intercultural competence.
